Saturday afternoon 12:07 PM Jackie reveals to Eric that she's pregnant. Right after Eric plays basketball with Donna and can't help but tell her the shocking news. Later at the Hub Donna asks Jackie to go to the bathroom for the first time and they talk about it. Jackie says that she hasn't told Kelso yet which Donna tells her she must. They hear a loud crash and find Kelso on the floor passed out with Fez slapping him to wake him up. Donna goes home and confides in Midge that the whole pregnancy thing scares her because of Jackie getting pregnant. Kelso informs the guys that he's going to do the right thing and raise the child.
Eric heads to the pharmacy to pick up photos and runs into Bob who is getting Donna's prescription. The pharmacist reveals that there's birth control pills in there and Eric is scared to death so he runs out away from Bob.Laurie is home again and Red & Kitty wanna know why. She keeps going through the mail. Eric later figures out that she's flunking out of college. Later she finds her grades and tries to make her F's into B's before Red sees them. Eric eventually tells Red she flunked out, but that news got shadowed out by Laurie telling him Donna is on the pill. Red and Kitty have a conversation with Eric about sex and foreplay where Red tells him to just not do it and Kitty tells him how to do it right. Donna finds out that Eric knows when Bob comes home talking to Midge about it because she doesn't want him to know. Jackie finds Donna and exclaims to her that she's not pregnant which is a huge sigh of relief for both of them as Donna informs her that she never wants something like this to happen to one of her friends again. Donna tells her the importance of being safe and achieving her dreams.
Kelso hasn't stopped moping around since he heard the news so when Jackie tells him she's not pregnant, he is overjoyed. But then she breaks up with him saying that this whole experience has made her realize that she needs to let nothing stand in her way of being a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader. Eric & Donna talk later and Donna tells Eric that nothing is going to change but Eric hopes things will when he starts to continually ask her if it's the right time which causes Red to grab the hose and spray him to the ground saying its for his own good.
