The Picture of Dorian Gray is an opera in two acts by the American composer Lowell Liebermann, from a libretto by the composer, based on the novel of the same name by Oscar Wilde (1890-1891).

The Picture of Dorian Gray had its world premiere at the Monte Carlo Opera in April 1996, in a production by John Cox, conducted by Steuart Bedford.
Its American premiere was on 5 February 1999 by Florentine Opera at Uihlein Hall, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and it was broadcast on NPR’s World of Opera.
