The Paradise of Death is a radio audio drama based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who, produced by the BBC and first broadcast in five episodes on BBC Radio 5 from 27 August to 24 September 1993. The original radio play was released on CD as part of the BBC Radio Collection in March 2000. A second radio play featuring the Third Doctor, The Ghosts of N-Space, was broadcast in 1996.

Self-described as "barely humanoid", they are bipedal but have mauve faces that display extreme changes of color and motion in reaction to emotion or stress. The Doctor has had trouble with the species before. The single Naglon in The Paradise of Death is an extreme sadist who revels in causing pain and death as well as enjoying feeling those emotions in his victims.

The Paradise of Death was novelised as part of the Target Books range by Barry Letts in 1994 (ISBN 0-426-20413-1); it was the 156th and final novelization to be published by Target, ending a series of books that began in 1964 (and under the Target label since 1973).
