The Other Man is an independent short film written and directed by Tim Morgan and starring Richard Arterton & Rob Sowden in their debut roles. Shot in England throughout January and February, the short produced in conjunction with University of Northampton, has an expected release date of May 2007.

The film is a remake of The Third Man, directed by Carol Reed and written by Graham Greene. The picture adopts many of the film noir characteristics of the original, particularly Robert Krasker's Academy Award winning cinematography.
