[edit] Plot
Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
Hank and his friends take Bobby's scout troop on a camping trip that acts as a rite of passage journey. However, the reality of the trip is for the adults to play jokes and do pranks on the kids. Things soon go awry when, during a snipe hunt, Bobby accidentally bags an endangered whooping crane, which coincidentally bears a vague resemblance to Dale's description of a snipe.
Meanwhile, Peggy goes on a journey of her own: driving to Lubbock, Texas to buy a pair of size 16 shoes.
[edit] Trivia
- The title of this episode is a reference to the Boy Scouts of America program Order of the Arrow.
- Dale's father, Bug Gribble, is seen in this episode in a flashback, but is portrayed as an older, more manlier version of Dale. Dale could be trying to repress the memories of his real father, though.
