"The One With All the Wedding Dresses" is the twentieth episode of season four of the television sitcom Friends.
[edit] Plot
Joey's snoring is keeping Chandler awake, so Chandler drags him to a sleep clinic. While there, Chandler meets a girl who talks in her sleep. Joey's new mouthguard keeps him from snoring, but neither he nor Chandler can sleep as Chandler's new girlfriend yells in her sleep.
Ross asks Monica to pick up Emily's wedding dress. When Monica tries on Emily's dress at the store, she is captivated by how she looks in the dress. She puts the wedding dress back on at home while doing the dishes, and opens the door to find Phoebe wearing a wedding dress as well (which the pregnant Phoebe rented from a store called "It's Not Too Late"). They begin throwing a bouquet back and forth and are sad when they have to go back to normal clothes.
Ross goes to talk with Rachel about his engagement to Emily. Rachel says she is fine and tells Ross that her relationship with Joshua may lead to a wedding as well, even though the two of them have only been on four dates. Ross and Emily finally set a wedding date, and it's only a month away. Panicked that Ross is moving on so much more quickly than her, Rachel asks Joshua if he wants to get married. But Joshua, feeling that the relationship is moving way too fast, breaks up with her. Phoebe and Monica try to help her feel better by putting on a wedding dress (her old wedding dress) as well. The three of them are eating popcorn and drinking beer (water for pregnant Phoebe) in the girls' apartment while wearing the wedding dresses when Joshua comes over to talk to Rachel but bolts when he sees her in a wedding dress.
