"The One with the Engagement Picture" is the fifth episode of season seven of the television sitcom Friends.
First aired: November 2, 2000
[edit] Plot
Chandler and Monica need a suitable photo for their engagement announcement - problem is, Chandler can't seem to take a decent photo. They go to a professional photographer, but have no success, even after Joey gives Chandler some tips. Eventually, they resort to a photo of Monica and Joey.
Phoebe starts dating 'Cute Coffeehouse Guy' Kyle, or 'Hums-While-He-Pees'. Kyle is going through a messy divorce, however, and at one point Phoebe enlists Ross to distract Kyle's ex-wife Whitney. Ross does the job a little too well, and ends up dating Whitney himself. Phoebe and Ross embark on a mimicry of a divorcing couple, Phoebe claiming Whitney decorated without even asking Kyle's opinion, and constantly brought her work home with her.
Kyle and Whitney decide to reunite, and Phoebe and Ross rethink their opinions of the couple, Ross admitting that she did use sex as a weapon.
Rachel asks Joey to take her assistant Tag out and show him around the city, but is upset when Joey teaches him how to pick up women, with his infamous "how you doing?" line. Joey agrees to tell Tag that sleeping around is unfulfilling, in exchange for ten Ralph Lauren polo shirts.
