Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Rachel is excited about her interview at Ralph Lauren, but she then does the "stupidest, most embarrassing thing": she kissed Mr. Zelner, thinking he was leaning in to kiss her, when he tried to lean past her to open the door. On the second interview, Mr. Zelner tries to tell Rachel that she has ink her on her lips from chewing her pen, but she misconstrues it as him hitting on her and storms out of the office: "I am not some hussy who will just sleep around to get ahead!" Rachel manages to get a second try at the second interview and tries to point out her courage, integrity, courage again, and not being litigious. Mr. Zelner hires her, but Rachel messes up on the handshake and touches him in the groin, managing to embarrass herself once again.

While watching Ross in his new apartment (which is directly across the street from Monica and Rachel's), Joey spots a Hot Girl. Joey tries to figure out which apartment she is in, but ends up at Ross's not once, but twice. Ross bumps into Joey's Hot Girl (AKA Jen) and gets her phone number. Joey, concerned that he is going to lose another girl by counting, gets help from Monica and finally comes to the Hot Girl/Jen's apartment. When he opens the door, he is shocked to see Ross again, as Ross had come over to Jen's apartment for their date.

Monica gets jealous that Phoebe and Gary are in the beginning of a relationship and can't keep their hands off each other. She tells Chandler that they need to prove that they are a hotter couple by having sex over and over again. Monica tries to brag about her and Chandler, but decides that she and Chandler need to have sex in a public place because Phoebe and Gary had sex in the park. She marches into the men's bathroom, but Chandler explains that he is happier about where their relationship is now rather than the beginning phase. Chandler gloats that Monica freaked out about their relationship and that he fixed it, proclaiming himself the relationship king and Monica the crazy and irrational one, but his reign is short as he realizes that his statement made him sound like the crazy and irrational one.
