"The One With Joey's New Girlfriend" is the fifth episode of Season Four of the television situation comedy Friends.

Chandler Bing introduces himself to a girl in Central Perk, only to find out she's waiting to go on a date with Joey. He brings Kathy back to their apartment after their date and she finds Chandler in the middle of the night, as she is going to watch the same TV show as he is. They get to know each other, and Chandler's feelings towards her deepen.

To prove to Rachel that he is over her, Ross continues to mention Amanda, his new girlfriend, who also happens to be a single parent. Ross turns up at Amanda's apartment with Ben ready for their date, but it turns out she wanted him to babysit, while she went on a date with another guy.

Rachel responds by dating Josh, a much younger guy. Things quickly end, however, after Rachel discovers that he is stealing from her.

Phoebe catches a cold, which makes her singing voice sound sexy. She attempts a new style of music, which is a huge hit, until she 'loses her sexy phlegm'. Meanwhile, Monica catches a cold and Phoebe accuses Monica of "stealing her cold". She then desperately tries to catch another cold from Monica, and even by kissing Gunther.
