"The One With Joey's Interview" is the nineteenth episode of the eighth season of Friends.

Joey is in the Soap Opera Digest crossword. He reveals that they have requested interviews with him several times, but has been reluctant to accept, given that the last time he gave an interview, he ended up getting fired. The friends persuade him to give the interview anyway, and they will be there to ensure he doesn't mess up.

The interview is given with a series of flashbacks as Joey reflects on his achievements and life thus far. He slips up a few times, claiming he is a "mento" for children, but nothing particularly bad until the final confession that he doesn't watch soap operas, saying, "excuse me, I have a life".

Fortunately, this comment doesn't make it into the magazine, because Joey sleeps with the interviewer.
