[edit] Plot
When Ross gets kicked out of his new apartment by Emily's cousin, Joey and Chandler say that Ross can live with them.
Phoebe meets a health inspector who was examining Monica's restaurant and thinks he is hilarious. Phoebe's date with the health inspector, Larry, has a quick change of plans when Larry, encouraged by Phoebe, decides to shut down the restaurant for violations. Phoebe is less supportive when he thinks about shutting down Central Perk.
Rachel and Monica find out about a party that their new neighbor, Danny, is throwing but are surprised when they are not invited. Rachel concludes that Danny wants her to ask him out, so him not asking her to the party was because he liked her. Monica stares in amazement at Rachel's convoluted logic.
Chandler and Joey return to find their apartment filled with Ross' boxes and begin to regret letting him stay with them. Joey builds a fort with Ross boxes and invites Chandler to come in. Ross really annoys Joey and Chandler by taping over Baywatch and requesting silence with an annoying gesture that reminds Chandler of the college days he shared with Ross.
Danny stops by to invite Monica and Rachel to his party, but Rachel pretends she is going to a fancy gala and wouldn't be able to come, believing this will put her back in the driver's seat.
Chandler and Joey try to get Ross to look at some apartment listings, but he isn't too interested. They drag him to a tiny, cruddy apartment, and Ross, figuring out that they want him to leave, makes them feel very guilty. In order to make sure that Ross doesn't get the apartment, they tell the apartment manager that Ross is a tap-dancing pimp with a large dog. They then ask Ross to move back in with them.
Rachel shows up at Danny's party, pretending to be returning from her fancy gala. When Danny tries to set her up with someone else, she is still convinced that Danny is playing with her.
