The One Where Emma Cries is the second episode of season nine of the television situation comedy Friends. First aired: October 3, 2002.

This episode picks up where "The one where no one proposes" left off. Rachel tells Ross that she agreed to marry Joey because she was scared of handling the baby on her own. Ross then transfers his anger and frustration on Joey, this leads to a hilarious square off between Joey and Ross at central perk. They finally settle the issue at the hospital.

Chandler tries to get out of moving to Tulsa after he slept off in a meeting and accidentally agreed to moving to Tulsa.

Meanwhile, Rachel is overwhelmed with her new baby, she decides to wake the baby up, even agianst Phoebe's warnings who tells her "you should never wake a sleeping baby". Rachel wakes the baby and she cries non-stop. Rachel, and Phoebe try to calm the baby but to no avail. Monica then lends a helping hand and the baby stops crying. Rachel makes Monica her official baby crier stopper.
