The One Where Dr. Ramoray Dies
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"The One Where Dr. Ramoray Dies" is the eighteenth episode of season two of the television situation comedy Friends.
[edit] Plot
Joey does an interview with Soap Opera Digest, wherein he claims that he makes up most of his lines on Days of Our Lives. The writers get wind of this, of course, and decide to exact revenge: They kill off Joey's character, Dr. Drake Ramoray, by having him fall to his death down an elevator shaft. And there's supposedly no way they can bring the character back, according to Joey - the only doctor that could have saved Dr. Ramoray was...Dr. Ramoray.
Chandler notices that his new roommate, Eddie, is more odd than originally believed. Eddie is obsessed with his ex-girlfriend, Tilly - so much so that when Tilly comes by to drop off a fish tank, Eddie accuses Chandler of sleeping with her and killing his goldfish. Eddie gets a new "goldfish" which he names Chandler - but it's just a goldfish cracker.
After an off-hand remark from Phoebe, Richard starts wondering exactly how many men Monica has slept with. This gets Ross wondering the same about Rachel. Richard then tells Monica he loves her. Richard and Ross stay over on the same evening - they both want to have sex with their girlfriends, but Monica and Rachel find there's only one condom left in the apartment. After a brief tussle, Rachel wins the "prize."
