"The One Where Chandler Doesn't Like Dogs" is the eighth episode of season seven of the television situation comedy Friends.

Ross enters Monica and Chandler's apartment to find everyone is busy with Chandler's game, in which they have to name all 50 states in six minutes. Rachel ends up finding 48, Phoebe is bored of naming states, so she decides to find different types of celery (she names one, regular celery), and Joey somehow finds 56. Throughout the episode, Ross becomes obsessed with naming all 50 states, but is only able to find 49.

Phoebe sneaks a puppy into the apartment, and Monica and Chandler both freak out, because Chandler is allergic to dogs. Phoebe informs them that the dog has been in the house for the past three days, so Chandler could not be allergic to them. Chandler reveals that he hates dogs, even puppies.

Tag attends the gang's Thanksgiving dinner, because he's been dumped by his girlfriend. Rachel asks Monica, Phoebe and Joey how long to wait to make a move on a recently-dumped guy. Their answers are one month, three to four months, and half-an-hour respectively. When Joey sees Tag and Rachel hugging on the balcony, he assumes she's taken his advice and spills the beans on Rachel's crush. Unfortunately, before Rachel can see how he feels about the situation, he sees his car being stolen and rushes down the stairs. He returns later to tell her he feels the same.
