Hammond, Indiana Mid-Sixties Rock and Roll band who released "SEARCHING/GIRL GET AWAY" on Chicago Illinois, CODY RECORDS(CODY #007). A Rhythm and Blues band which played the smaller clubs around Lancaster, CA from 1959 to 1962. They were formed by Alex St. Clair, aka Butch Snauffer, (lead guitar) and Terry Wimberley (piano)who had played with Frank Zappa in The Blackouts. The band also included Gary Burkey who played drums until fall of 1960 and alto sax occasionally, David Giego (trumpet), Pete Lovio (tenor), Frank Lynch (trombone), Wally Salazar (rhythm guitar), Fred Salazar (tenor sax), Pat Prue (drums) and James "Motorhead" Sherwood (baritone). A certain Don Van Vliet (later Captain Beefheart) played alto sax and was an occasional vocalist with them. When St. Claire left the band he was replaced by Jerry Handley, then a lead guitarist. Doug Moon and John Frenchwere regulars in their audience.
