The Number Twelve Looks Like You (Simply called The Number Twelve) is a six-piece mathcore band from Bergen County, New Jersey. Eclectic influences result in a calculated mixture of extreme metal, fusing elements of death metal, jazz, grindcore and hardcore. Their contrast between high pitched screeches and death grunts have caused some to label their sound "extremo".

They released their first full-length album, Put On Your Rosy Red Glasses, on Brutal Records in March 2003. After extensive touring, in July 2004, they were picked up by Eyeball Records in October. Early 2005 brought the EP An Inch Of Gold For An Inch of Time, which featured a cover of The Knack's hit, "My Sharona". The name, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, is taken from the title of an episode of The Twilight Zone. The band was previously known as "And Ever" before making a slight change to their style. The band has shared the stage with many bands including End of All, Ion Dissonance, Ed Gein, Through The Eyes Of The Dead, Minus the Bear, Fear Before the March of Flames, The Fall of Troy, Heavy Heavy Low Low, The Jonbenet and Thursday, From A Second Story Window.
