The Northwest Academy is an arts and performing arts high school located in Northwest Portland, Oregon. The school was founded by Mary Vinton Folberg, former artistic director of The Jefferson Dancers and sister of Claymation creator Will Vinton.

The Northwest Academy is an independent secondary school committed to education through the integration of the arts, academics and contemporary technology. The Academy offers motivated and talented students programs which emphasize and value creative thinking, individual choice, academic rigor, and self-discipline, taught by master teachers and professionals active in their fields.
