The Nightmare Before Christmas TCG is a card game that was released in 2005: it consisted of a Premiere set and 4 Starter Decks based on 4 characters, Jack Skellington, The Mayor, Oogie Boogie, and Doctor Finklestein. Each Starter contain a rule book, a Pumpkin King card, a Pumpkin Points card, and a 48 card deck.

The game has 4 card types:

  • Characters
  • Locales
  • Creations
  • Surprises

And has 4 rarities:

  • Common
  • Uncommon
  • Rare
  • Ultra Rare

There are new expansions slated for release in 2006:

  • Tournament Kit (early 2006)
  • Christmas Town Expansion (March 2006)
  • The Real World Expansion (August 2006) with new Starter Decks
