The Nargun and The Stars is a children's fantasy novel by Patricia Wrightson. The book was the winner of the 1974 Australian Children's Book Council Book of the Year Award.

The plot involved a modern day boy coming to live in a remote Australian valley where he discovers a variety of ancient Dreamtime creatures including the ominous stone Nargun.

The book was later made into a television series.
