The Munsters Today was an American syndicated television series that was a spin-off from the 1960s comedy The Munsters. It was produced from 1988 to 1991 with 71 episodes.

[edit] Storyline

Grandpa (Howard Morton) creates a "Sleeping Machine" which makes the user fall asleep for a selected amount of time. While the victim is asleep, his/her age does not change. The machine was tested on the entire family. When Grandpa accidentally sets the unit for 22 YEARS instead of 22 minutes, the family awakens to the world of 1988. They all struggle to find their way in the strange new era. It is just awful.

  • In, "A Little Russian Dressing," Grandpa says, "They're not the Brady Bunch, but they're mine," referring to his family. Many people think this is a goof, because the Brady Bunch was only on in the 70's, but there were Brady spin-offs in 1988.
