The Mirror is the latest album to be released by rap artist Ja Rule. Previously rumoured to be Love Is Pain, but no official word from Ja Rule about this. The first track from the upcoming album "Free" featuring singer Ashley Joi, has been released and has been circulating on the internet and local radio stations. On Ashley Joi's MySpace she states that she wrote "Free" with Ja Rule as a comeback single for the album "The Mirror."
Irv Gotti reported in an interview with MTV, that Ja Rule had recorded a song called Father Forgive Me, Irv bet Ja $100,000, that this track would be the best song Ja will ever make. Father Forgive Me has not been released to radio stations or to the internet as of yet. They decided to pay the bet when they will be 50 and 45 years old.
The "Mirror" album is going to be in stores in June 26, 2007 and will include many collaborations with other artists (The Game, Mary J. Blige, Lloyd, Fabolous, Marsha, Nas, Jadakiss, Fat Joe)
