The Milk of Human Kindness is a 2005 album by Caribou. Caribou is the performing name of Dan Snaith who was previously known as Manitoba until he was forced to change it via a threat of lawsuit by aging punk-rocker Handsome Dick Manitoba.
While it is commonly thought that the album's title is derived from Shakespeare's play Macbeth, Snaith has been quoted as saying that he read it off the back of a milk truck.[1]
