In an Australian desert a secret power station has got some visitors to learn about the secrets but the Hood is spying on them and is caught by a security guard who then have a gun fight and the Hood fires the gas container which sets the plant on fire. They all evacuate but the whole thing blows sky high and fog spreads all around Australia and Melbourne is evacuated. Meanwhile John pilots Thunderbird 3 back to Thunderbird 5 and Alan pilots it home at Tracy Island. Penelope and Parker are visiting and there is a new Power Plant in the Sahara Desert. However during a conference the Hood notices a little mouse that can take pictures and paralyses all the people in the meeting and steals it.
Later he causes danger there and they call John in Thunderbird 5. Jeff and Brains decide that Thunderbird 4 will be needed to stop the sea water in take and that Scott and Virgil will have to stop the reactors but Lady Penelope is left in Thunderbird 2 only in company of the mouse luckily they stop the reactors in time so all that needs doing now is for Gordon to fire the intake.
