The Memoirs of Cleopatra

The Memoirs of Cleopatra is a novel written by Margaret George and released on May 15, 1998. The author spent years traveling through different parts of the Mediterranean to research this book. The story starts off when Cleopatra VII is just 2 years old and continues until her death. It is written in an autobiographical manner, to make the reader believe the story is Cleopatra's actual diary. The book is 968 pages long.
A movie version of The Memoirs of Cleopatra was made a year after its release; it is not faithful to the book.[citation needed]
