The Melody and the Energetic Nature of Volume is an album by Canadian based rock band Evans Blue. It was released on February 21, 2006 (see 2006 in music). The two hit songs on the album are Cold (But I'm Still Here) and Over. The album apparently portrays a relationship from start to finish. The track Possession is a remake from the fellow Canada musician Sarah McLachlan. This is the first album for Evans Blue.
