The Meligrove Band are a Canadian indie rock band, consisting of Jason Nunes on vocals, guitar and piano, Andrew Scott on guitar and organ, Michael Small on bass and Darcy Rego on drums.

The band was formed in 1997 by Nunes, Small and Rego, when the three attended Father Michael Goetz Secondary School in Mississauga, Ontario. Scott joined in late 2002, after his former band, Femme Fatale, broke up. (Scott's bandmates in Femme Fatale included Sebastien Grainger and Jesse F. Keeler, who went on to form Death from Above 1979. Although the Meligrove Band's sound has been compared to Sloan by some critics, Scott is not the same person as that band's Andrew Scott.)

The band released its first independent album, Stars & Guitars, in 2000. In 2005, they became the first Canadian band signed to V2 Records.
