The Meaning of Soul is a song on the British rock band Oasis' sixth album, Don't Believe the Truth. Written by Liam Gallagher it is one of three of his songs on the album. At 1 minute 42 seconds it is the shortest song on the album.
On the 14 February 2007 Oasis played it at The Brits 07 after receiving the Oustanding Contribution to Music award.
