The Mathematics of Poker

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Mathematics of Poker is a book by William Chen and Jerrod Ankenman published in November 2006. It describes the game-theoretic principles behind optimal poker play. The book derives non-exploitable strategies for various simplified toy poker games, demonstrating that such unexploitable strategies are often pure. Such aspects of non-exploitable strategies for toy poker games can be adapted for the more complex forms of poker which are commonly played.
