The Mad Capsule Markets is one of several compilations that the Mad Capsule Markets released. All of the songs have been rerecorded and 2 have been remixed. On the version of HI-SIDE, Mad showed more experimentation with English language and Walk!! was remixed by respected dub artist Adrian Sherwood, and Jesus is dead was changed into a more drum n'bass style of song. This album did not chart on the Japanese album chart, but it continued Mad's popularity. This was the last album that guitarist Ishigaki played on, and he later replaced by TORU xxx.
