The Lost Ones is the English translation of Le dépeupleur, a short written work by Samuel Beckett. In remarkably dense prose, Beckett describes a small world consisting of a flattened cylinder, fifteen meters round and eighteen high, and its pitiable inhabitants. Due to the timing of its release, this work was the winner of the 1969 Nobel Prize in Literature, despite not being one of Beckett's better known works.

The Lost Ones was published in French in 1970 and published in the author's English translation in 1972.
