The Linden Diner
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Linden Diner is a diner located in Linden Square of Malden, Massachusetts. The Linden Diner originally opened in 1948 as the Linden Dairy Bar an ice cream parlor, as was popular at the time. By the mid-1970's, management had changed as did the diner itself. It was then that the slow transition of an ice cream palor to a more food oriented restaurant was taking place. By the early 1980's, the diner had become a city-wide known breakfast eatery. It was also now that they had expanded the restaurant by buying out the hair salon that was next door and turning that area into more seating.
