The Life of the Last Prophet is a spoken-word, audio production by Yusuf Islam, formerly known as Cat Stevens. The first official release by Yusuf Islam since his departure from the music business in 1978. This biography of Prophet Muhammad's life is a remarkable product which does more than educate; it draws the listener into the story through Yusuf Islam's wonderful voice and the latest sound-effect technology. Also, many verses from the Qur'an are recited within the historical context of revelation. At the end of the album is Yusuf Islam's now-famous rendition of the song 'Tala-al Badru Alayna' in Arabic and English.
