The Letting Go is the name of a 2006 album released by Will Oldham under the moniker Bonnie 'Prince' Billy. It was recorded in Reykjavík and produced by Valgeir Sigurðsson, who is known for his work with the Icelandic artist Björk. Dawn McCarthy of Faun Fables provides second vocals. It is named after the last lines of an Emily Dickinson poem that starts "After a Great Pain, A Formal Feeling Comes".[1]
