The Lesbian & Gay Foundation

The Lesbian and Gay Foundation is a charity based in Manchester. It was formed with the merger of Healthy Gay Manchester and Manchester Lesbian and Gay Switchboard Services in April 2000.
The LGF provide a range of services to the lesbian, gay and bisexual community of Manchester. It says '“We believe in a fair and equal society where all lesbian, gay and bisexual people can achieve their full potential". Services include face-2-face (a counselling service) the LGF helpline and a sexual health clinic.
It is based at Princess House, Princess Street, Manchester. It produces a magazine entitled Out North West, runs outreach work in sexual health and operates a confidential helpline.
