[edit] Plot
Marissa has some difficulties at Newport Union, her new school, but meets new friends. For example the surfers Johnny and "Chili" and Johnny's girlfriend Casey. Ryan is worried about Marissa. Julie has to move out of Caleb's mansion, therefore Marissa moves in with Summer. Charlotte Morgan, who Kirsten met at her rehab, makes plans to defraud Kirsten. Summer, as the new Social Chair of Harbor, prepares the school dance. But Taylor tricks Summer into confessing that she helped Seth stealing a tiki hut from the school and replaces her as Social Chair. At the dance, Summer catches Taylor and the Dean of Discipline, who removed her from the Social Chair, kissing.
