The Last Desert

The Last Desert is a six-day, 250 kilometer footrace which takes place in Antarctica. It is the final event in the 4 Deserts series and open only to participants who have completed all other events in the series (Gobi Desert in China, Sahara Desert in Egypt, and the Atacama Desert in Chile). Fifteen individuals from around the world completed the 4 Deserts becoming the first in the world to complete a 100 miler on the Antarctic continent. Participants who complete The Last Deserts will have run a 1000 kilometers in the hottest, driest, coldest and windiest places on Earth. The 4 Deserts series has quickly become one of leading outdoor events in the world attracting participants from more than 20 countries at each event.
