[edit] Voice-Over Introduction

Donatello: Being a Ninja Turtle, I've seen a lot crazy things in the past few years, but this really takes the prize. At first, I thought I was dreaming, then I wished I was. But this was no dream, this was definitely a nightmare.

[edit] Quotes

  • Michaelangelo: "There's cake? I love cake!"
  • Donatello after Kirby telling him about his magic crystal: "Crystals. It had to be crystals."

[edit] Miscellanea

This episode was based on the original Mirage comic Donatello #1, entitled "Kirby and the Warp Crystal". It was printed in February, 1986.

The character Kirby is possibly, if not actually, based on Jack Kirby. Also known as 'The King (of Comics)', he helped co-create many of Marvel's most popular superheroes alongside his one-time partner Stan Lee. (ex. The original X-Men, Thor, Fantastic Four, etc.)
