The Interfaith Stewardship Alliance (ISA) published an article, A Call to Truth, Prudence, and Protection of the Poor: An Evangelical Response to Global Warming, that refuted claims by the Evangelical Climate Initiative (ECI) in a report entitled Climate Change: An Evangelical Call to Action.

The latter was a non-scientific endorsement of the essential arguments made by Al Gore about catastrophic, anthropogenic global warming.

The former included signatures of approximately fifty-five PhD-holding researchers from multiple nations.
