The Hunter (novel)

The Hunter is a thriller novel, written by Donald E. Westlake under the pseudonym Richard Stark. It was the basis for two feature films, Point Blank (1967) and Payback (1999).

The plot concerns a criminal, Parker, who is himself betrayed, shot and left for dead by his partner, and his relentless pursuit to retrieve his money and wreak revenge.
