Paul Racine (Lambert) is an American executive on a business trip to Tokyo. He meets a Japanese woman named Kirina (Chen) at a bar and ends up going back to her hotel room. He accidentally witnesses her execution by a notorious ninja named Kinjo (Lone) and sees his face. Racine is wounded in the attack but survives and finds himself on the run from Kinjo and his clan who want him dead in order to protect Kinjo's identity. Racine is aided by an skilled swordsman named Takeda (Harada) and his wife (Shimada) who have their own score to settle with Kinjo.
