The Hunger For More is the first solo album by rapper Lloyd Banks, released in 2004. It debuted at number 1 on the Billboard charts with 433,000 copies sold in the first week and is the third highest selling album of G-Unit under 50 Cent and former G-Unit member The Game. The album has since sold 2.4 million copies in the U.S. and over 4 million copies worldwide.
The single from this album include "On Fire", "I'm So Fly", and "Karma". Features on this album include 50 Cent, Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Avant, and former G-Unit member The Game. The Hunger For More received postive review, but some criticized the production on this album but most review praised his lyrical ability.
The first week when The Hunger For More was released a distribution house in the Northeast was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash and approximately eight boxes of the CDs (200 copies) over the weekend. A downtown New York record store had nearly 100 copies of the CD stolen from its racks by a single perpetrator on Tuesday, the album's first day in stores, though they were later recovered. [1]
