The Hot Puppies

The Hot Puppies are a Welsh band from Aberystwyth, now based in Cardiff, signed to Fierce Panda Records.
They are:
- Becky Newman - Vocals
- Beth Gibson - Vocals/Keyboards/Theremin/Cello
- Luke Taylor - Guitar/Vocals
- Ben Faircloth - Bass
- Bert Wood - Drums
The band have been touring as a support act to Art Brut, and later supporting The Crimea.
Becky and Bert are engaged to be married. Beth is in a relationship with Luke, who is the band's principal songwriter.

They have released five singles, one demo, one EP, and an album. A collection of "rarities and unreleased tracks recorded between 2003 and 2005", titled Over My Dead Body, is due for release in 2007.
