The Holy Soul is a Rock 'n' Roll band from Australia.

[edit] Bio

The Holy Soul formed in 2001, consisting of Trent Marden (vocals and guitar), Sam Worrad (bass), Christopher Warrick Penglis known as "Cumgums" (drums) and Tim Malfroy (lead guitar). They have released one single, one EP, and one full-length album. They have toured with The Drones and Mudhoney, and have performed as part of the Damo Suzuki Network. Tim Malfroy was replaced by Jon Hunter in January 2006. In May the band played in the Netherlands, France, Germany, Denmark, Belgium and Switzerland. Hunter's first recording with The Holy Soul was a cover of I Burnt Your Clothes, a Rowland S. Howard song, which is due to be released on a tribute album compiled by Dimi Dero sometime this year.
