When built in 1997, it was the first Inverted Roller Coaster in Texas. a popular attraction for adults, but not for small kids. As with Steel Eel the control panel is in a confined room, which no one can see into, but the oporator can see out. The Wait for Great White can be long on a day when it is running with only one train.
