The Great Northern Warehouse is a grade 2* [1] listed former railway goods warehouse (see G-Mex for more details) located at the junction of Deansgate and Peter Street in the centre of Manchester, England. The railway warehouse closed as a result of the Beeching Axe in 1963[1] and lay derelict until 1998 when redevolpment work started to turn it into an entertainment venue.
