The Great Fussili
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Great Fusilli is the final episode of season one of Courage the Cowardly Dog. It features a new villain in Fusilli .
[edit] Plot
A strange caravan arrives at the farm, with an Italian crocodile on board. It asks Eustace and Muriel to perform in its show. An invisible audience applauds their acts, and Courage is immediately suspicious. Courage comes across a room of disturbingly life-like puppets. Fusilli lowers two sets of strings on Eustace and Muriel and they are transformed into puppets! Courage manages to defeat Fusilli by lowering the magic strings on him and turning Fussili into a puppet himself. He uses ventriloquism to carry on living with Eustace and Muriel as he always did. The character was originally debuted as "Sewernose deBergerac" on an episode of Chip 'n Dale's Rescue Rangers called "A Case of Stage Blight".
[edit] Trivia
- First appearance of clown-Muriel.
- It was said by some that Fusilli should have appeared in Ball of Revenge, despite the fact that he transformed into a puppet. This program tends to ignore such facts however, as Eustace and Muriel reappear after this in non-puppet form. One of the few characters to stay dead is the Chicken from Outer Space. His death was acknowledged in Son of the Chicken from Outer Space.
- Jim Cummings voices Fussili in this episode.
