The Great American Novel (Davis)

The Great American Novel is a 1944 novel by Clyde Brion Davis. It is a humorous novel about a newspaperman who dreams of writing The Great American Novel, but never has the time.[1] It refers to, but should not be confused with, the concept of the Great American Novel.
