Grave Dancers is a horror film, selected to play at the 8 Films To Die For film festival.

[edit] Synopsis

Grave Dancers is a horror film about a group of friends who unleash malevolent spirits after a drunken bout of gravedancing after their friend's wake.

[edit] Trivia

The look of the film's ghosts was inspired by the "Drop of Water" episode from Mario Bava's anthology horror film BLACK SABBATH, Disney's Haunted Mansion ride, and a nightmare that director Mike Mendez had one night, in which dreamt of turning around to see a large monster looming over him and smiling. He felt that there was something more disturbing about a malicious entity that was happy to see you - as opposed to a more traditional angry countenance.
