The Grapes has seen formative gigs from Sheffield bands including Arctic Monkeys, The Long Blondes, Milburn, Bromheads Jacket, Little Man Tate, Pink Grease, and many others. Other bands that have played gigs there have included Maxïmo Park, ¡Forward, Russia!, Thomas Truax and Hammell on Trial.
