The Grammar School for Girls, Wilmington (or GSGW) is a secondary grammar school in Wilmington, Kent, England. The uniform consists of maroon jumpers and skirts, with blue shirts. The school has a close relationship with the nextdoor Wilmington Grammar School for Boys. The headteacher is Mrs M. Bolton.

  • Awarded Specialist Status for Maths and Computing. (September 2004)
  • County Beacon status for Mathematics and Modern Foreign Languages
  • Oracle Academy
  • 44% of Year 8 students achieved an award in the UK Maths Challenge.
  • Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 school netball teams were all placed in the top 3 of the Gravesham League.
  • Three students have reached international standard in Canoeing, Polo, Tennis and Triathlon.

The school is a maths and computing special college and changeds have been occuring throughout the school to improve the school's maths facilities, such as the new installation of interactive white boards in the maths rooms, which have been a great success.

The school offers lessons for a variety of instruments including:

  • Vocal coaching
  • Violin
  • Viola
  • Cello
  • Flute
  • Clarinet

and many other instruments. If there is enough demand other instruments may be added to the list. There are many clubs run at lunchtimes which are open to everyone:

  • School Choir
  • Orchestra
  • Chamber choir (by invitation only)
  • Flute group
  • Recorder club
  • String quartet (generally set up and organised by the members themselves)
